Animal Farm Family LLC is a holding company for three rapidly growing e-commerce companies, one of which being Happy Hippo LLC (happyhippo.com). Happy Hippo is the world’s leading online Kratom retailer, along with other popular botanical and herbal supplements that help people to live their Happiest life. To support our continued growth and success, we are seeking another talented Graphic Designer to join our team!
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations/renders, supplement and food labels (i.e. labels, shrink sleeves, wrappers, boxes, etc.), company logos and other digital web assets (i.e. banners, social media posts, etc.) with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign
- Preparing and proofing finalized, print-ready files for labels and packaging across a variety of print materials (i.e. labels, shrink sleeves, boxes, wrappers, sachets, stick packs, etc.)
- Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, packaging manufacturers, and other colleagues as necessary
Graphic Designer Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or 2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
- Experience in physical packaging design in CPG industry: labels, cartons, shrink sleeves etc.
- Experience in building technical print literature including posters, pamphlets, brochures, flyers, etc.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative design environment
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud applications with emphasis in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dimensions
- Must have experience in printing processes: ink and color systems, materials, general proofing, working with print vendors, press printing, digital printing, etc.
- Must have experience creating print-ready files with effects like spot varnishes, white layering for metallic substrates, etc.
- Strong understanding of creating color separation layers in Adobe Illustrator
- Strong understanding of layout and composition
- Practical time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects at once
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design

Pay Transparency:
The base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. The total compensation package may include performance bonuses, benefits, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
